Mary Robertson

Mary trained and worked as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa prior to coming to the UK. She has been working at the Traumatic Stress Clinic in Camden and Islington since 2002 as a consultant psychologist and head of service. 

She has many years of experience in the field of adult mental health with specialist expertise in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in a range of different contexts. Prior to her current position, Mary managed the Trauma Clinic, Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, in South Africa. She has had international experience in consultancy, training, programme evaluation and policy development.

Mary works part time with Jocelyn offering trauma informed training and consultation. Through her management experience in South Africa and the UK, Mary understands the impact of engaging with traumatic material on team wellbeing and functioning and ways of mitigating this.
